[fdo-internals] FDO, raster imagery and GDAL provider

Hi all,

I don't know whether this question should rather go to the Users section,
but anyway - does any FDO provider (either OS or commercial) enable storing
raster imagery data into managed (say, RDBMS-based) datastore? In my
knowledge, only GDAL provider enables read-only access to file-based data.
FDO meta-model provides raster definition classes via IRaster, but they're
not implemented (yet)...?
