What about submitting this patch as a ticket?
This way it's easy to observe changes as outlined by Trac diff  
mechanism.

I support Greg's opinion.

I'm going to re-read more carefully the RFC 21 tonight and send my  
comments.
So, I'd also appreciate if I have access to the entire patch, preferable
submitted as a ticket.
