Sorry to see that you will no longer be able to participate in the PSC. Thanks you for all your effort the last few years. It has been of great help, and was much appreciated. 

Regarding the 'philosophical differences with regard to project collaboration', maybe you could elaborate on this point further to help us understand your perspective?

Folks,

I've come to the conclusion I don't have the time to stay on top of FDO
activities the way I should as a PSC member.  I look forward to continuing
as an occasional developer, particular helping maintain the GDAL provider.
But in light of my lack of time, and perhaps some philosophical differences
with regard to project collaboration, I think it is best that I step down.

So, consider this official notice of my stepping down from the FDO PSC.
