[fdo-internals] Provider for ArcGIS File Geodatabase

Is any work being done to make a provider for the ArcGIS file
geodatabase?  The API was released recently and is available at:

http://resources.arcgis.com/content/geodatabases/10.0/file-gdb-download

I've seen the desire for this come up on a number of message boards.
I believe AutoDesk had something similar but it required that an
ArcGIS Desktop be installed.  It appears that the new API would get
around that.  I'd like to get involved if there is some movement
already.
