The debian version number that you refer to comes from the
debian/changelog file.
fdo-src (${FDOBUILD}-${BUILDNUM}) experimental; urgency=low
You may want to check what the value of your -${BUILDNUM} variable is.
Perhaps you coded that somewhere in .bashrc/...?
