Comment:

 I get the same error from the 3.3.1 release source tarball. But looking at
 this problem again in more detail, the issue can be caused by incorrect
 line endings in the batch files.

 I modified all the batch files in the source tarball to make sure they are
 using CRLF line endings and the batch files now work when specifiying
 parameters.

 The batch files need to be checked for correct line endings.
