We didn't post a version of 3.4 yet but the code of the trunk pass our unit test against 9.3.
As for 3.3.2, you should give it a try either using 9.2 client dlls or 9.3. We had to do minor modification on the trunk to pass the unit test but there is some indication from ESRI that 9.2 client SP5 can connect to 9.3 server (in direct mode?) and backward compatibility with 9.2 client connecting to 9.3. Some people have reported that it was working as-is against a 9.3 server. If I have a minutes, I'll give it a shot myself.
BTW 3.3.2 should be binary compatible with 3.3.1.

Robert,
I've been trying to find out if FDO supports ArcSDE 9.3. Currently I'm
using 3.3.1, your post points to 3.3.2 and 3.4 coming in October - December
time frame.
Do any of these releases support ArcSDE 9.3? Thanks....
