Understand now :)

In existing provider there is option in which he creates point from X Y
standard Oracle number fields.
Provider will create FDO class and FDO geometry from non-spatial Oracle

In simillar way it can be done for lines and polygons.
Perhaps, way to do it would be to extend existing Oracle provider.

How is it indexed, spatial index ?

Subject: RE: [fdo-users] FDO provider for G/Technology

I mean the future geometry won't be stored in SDO_GEOM columns, If we
the case of G/Technology Oracle data store. There will be columns from
to X8,Y8 in oracle schema tables. Any linear feature geometry has more
8 vertices then the geometry information will be stored in multiple

My intention in saying "not oracle spatial" means the geometry
won't be stored in SDO_GEOM columns.
