Haris, thank you for the information!

Orest, both criteria (pk and the user_sdo_geom_metadata) are valid. I
discovered that there is just a lot of 'unexpected' caching behind MGE
and/or Autodesk Oracle FDO that does not make a lot of sence. After
restarting services or the server, things work fine again ...
