Thanks John for the response.

I understand the problem, but i don't know how to resolve it.
This is my scenario:
-my own library (in which i link all fdo libraries) compiles fine: this
library doesn't export any FDO symbols.
-an executable that uses this library won't compile and shows the same error
of ldd -r on libFdoPostgreSQL.so.
-if i compile the library without linking libFdoPostgreSQL.so, then the
executable compiles fine.
