[fdo-users] PostgreSqlProvider 3.7

Hi Zac,

No, I don’t have a rough estimate at this time. It will take a bit of research and analysis of the differences between PostgreSQL v8.4 and v9.2 to determine if any major changes are needed in the provider. If not, it may be somewhat painless, aside from the testing required.

Greg,

do you have any idea of the effort required?

It would be wise for the community to officially support PostgreSQL 9.x, PostGIS 2.x in the 3.8.1 or 3.9 release. Of course funding the project is the key issue to resolve.

Hello,

is there a rodmap for the PostgreSQL/PostGIS FDO? My real question is about the support of PostGIS 2.x because we are using windows server 2008 64-bit.
MGOS 2.4 is 64-bit, PostgreSQL 9.1.6 is 64-bit. The bottleneck is the FDO for PostGIS 1.5 (only 32-bit).

Is the support of PG 2.x to expect in the near future? Are there any hints for a work around?

Thanks in advance!

Regards
Peter
