  Some of the libraries that the RDBMS providers use contain few multithreading issues related to the use of global and static variables. One other issue found is related to the spatial context object holding to a pointer (ByteArray) allocated from a thread specific data. That data may endup getting used by a different thread if the connection holding the spatial context object is shared by multiple threads(a very common occurence)
