Works for me. I suspect you'll need motions from the board documented before
you can get a business VISA from them. They'll let you know - I understand
some of the requirements are different in Quebec, yet, the account is still
technically in BC. Hmm...

You are right - they didn't like the PO Box. The registration was required
solely for setting up the Canadian-based bank accounts. Yes, a twisted web of
requirements for trying to make it easy ;-)
It's listed as our main contact address here:

Sometimes contributor agreements end up there, but I think we can change it to
your address and that would work well enough. Worse case would be some
bounced mail with the sender having to look up the right address again :)

Yes, the society act required annual reports - basically a list of new
directors and a note about when the AGM was held. A local lawyer filed that
for me.

If you have a new address that goes to your business then I suggest dropping
the PO Box. I was using it just so I didn't have my home address on stuff,
which isn't a problem if items are mailed to MapGears instead directly.
I have been getting some (gratis) geo magazines and my personal VISA
statements sent there (plus junk mail of course :P ), so I wouldn't actually
mind monitoring it a bit longer to make sure that stuff is changed over
properly. There really is very little traffic - a couple pieces per month.
Now that I think about it, I might end up wanting a PO box anyway for future
business stuff, so I could even just renew it personally at the end of the year
and still keep an eye on it for you. Of course if you still want it, that's
fine too and we could set up the forwarding.
Too much to think about this late in the week ;-)
Thanks,
Tyler
