[OSGeo Finance] Reviving the Finance Committee

Hi Finance Committee,

This group has been quiet. As you probably know by now, I was appointed 
as the new OSGeo treasurer at OSGeo's F2F board meeting on Sunday. My 
first task is to bring this committee back to life and to work on a 
budget for 2012 with you.

First step: since this committee has been inactive for a while, I would 
like to ask all members to confirm their interest in continuing active 
work on the committee.

The http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Finance_Committee page lists the 
following members:

     * Frank Warmerdam
     * Dave McIlhagga
     * Jo Walsh
     * Paul Ramsey
     * Ken Tamura
     * Tyler Mitchell

Please all members confirm you interest in continuing, or indicate your 
intention to step down. I hope you'll all be staying but want to make 
sure before we get going.

Also if there is anyone lurking on the list who is interested in helping 
then please let us know. Someone with experience running a US-based 
non-profit would be much welcome on the committee to advise on 
US-specific requirements.
