[FOSS-GPS] Chart plotter software

Hi,

Ogr2ogr that is a included in FWTools package can be used for tranforming from S-57 to other, more widely supported vector formats. FWTools package does not include anything directly usable as a chart plotter software.

You could have a look at FW Tools (http://fwtools.maptools.org/).  From the Help page:

"Additional formats can be read via an optional linkage to the OGR vector library, providing support for formats such as Mapinfo, SDTS, S-57, Tiger, and NTF."
