I find it interesting that the board has space to accommodate 3 GPS
receivers. I wonder what the thinking is there.
Would 1 cm accuracy + 3 receivers make 3d positioning possible?

I know the boat we used while I was working (far too briefly) at the
Seafloor Mapping Lab / CSU Monterey Bay had a pair of RTK GPS
receivers. They do multibeam sonar bathymetry and it allows them to
compensate for the rocking movement of the boat.

I am curious to know more about the fixed station too, all the
information shows only the rover.
