[FOSS-GPS] Provision of Global Map

[Dimitris Psychas]

Saying global map, I mean a digital map that depicts the whole globe. The shapefile format is a format that is supported by a lot of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) programs/packages and you can use it in order to plot some data information in a map.
