</div>Well, in fact, one of our developers on Foxtrot has a script that does<br>
exactly that: you feed it a route, and it retrieves all the necessary tiles,<br>
with sufficient overlap on the sides to support random sidetrips.<br></blockquote><div><br></div><div>the osm-gps-map library also has an API for pre-caching regions and zoom levels of the map.</div><div><br></div><div>John</div>
