[FOSS4G-Oceania] T-shirt supplier and sizes

Okay so my wife had a look at the tees for me as I was concerned that I
hadn't received enough feedback.
Her thoughts are:
1. The womens tee that Tee Junction sells is a very slim and fitted cut -
probably safer to go with a unisex or regular fit tee
2. Ideally go with darker colours e.g. navy / charcoal
3. She would also want to know the colour before she would consider
purchasing
Tee Junction don't sell a regular fit womens tee.
So I found another provider called Edition with similar prices, AS Colour
tees once again but they've got these two (both regular fit) options:
Mens / Unisex:
https://www.editiononline.com.au/create_products/Staple-Tee?n=41648267
Womens:
https://www.editiononline.com.au/create_products/Maple-Tee?n=77175542
I think there are three colours available in both those tees that work well
with our logo, so I propose this:
- for conference attendees, a Navy tee with the conference logo in the
left chest position
- for conference committee members, a Charcoal tee with the conference
logo in the left chest position and sponsors on the back
- for conference volunteers, a Carolina Blue tee with the conference logo
in the left chest position and the sponsors on the back
If conference committee members would like a t-shirt and it's coming out of
the conference budget, then they should wear it on at least one of the
conference days. As Martin said, it's another opportunity to provide
exposure to those making the event happen (side note: we still need to
discuss in-kind support too!). If a conference committee member doesn't
want to wear a t-shirt, then that's cool, I don't want to force it on
anyone. We can just print them for those that do.
I do think it is a good idea if at least a portion of the committee is
easily identifiable at the conference on any given day, in addition to any
volunteers. We can achieve that without t-shirts so I'm open to other
suggestions.
Support for these proposals?
Thanks
Daniel
