[FOSS4G-Oceania] Fwd: Potential Georabble during event week

I don't think it's a question of whether it is easy to shift though. More a
question of whether it would be the right thing to do for our attendees to
get the most out of our conference.

I expect FOSS4G SotM Oceania attendees will be coming from across our
region to attend the conference. If attendees are not interested in
attending the community day, they'll be heading home after Day 2. We know
that virtually every attendee will be available on the evening of Day 1 -
because they'll be attending on Day 2. This is not so certain for the
evening of Day 2.

Ozri attendees should be relatively local to the event, given that similar
events are being held in Sydney and Melbourne. GeoRabbles in Melbourne
already attract a large audience. I don't think that it makes a huge
difference what night the GeoRabble is on. I do think it makes a huge
difference what night the conference dinner is on.

It would be great to get some more input from other committee members on
this.
