[FOSS4G-Oceania] FOSS4G SotM Oceania 2019 Sponsorship Drive

Hi everyone,


The sponsorship prospectus is ready to go after lots of great input from
the committee. It’s now time to start engaging potential sponsors and
securing a significant portion of the funding for FOSS4G SotM Oceania 2019.


You can help in one ore more of the following ways:


*Reach out to your networks*

If you know people in organisations that use, support, or have an interest
in open source geospatial software and OpenStreetMap, list them in the
Sponsorship
Contacts spreadsheet

and assign yourself as a warm contact. You can then help by sending an
initial outreach email following the steps listed here

and attaching the prospectus document

*Join the sponsorship team*

If you would like to help communicating with potential and confirmed
sponsors, let me know. This will involve walking sponsors through the steps
once initial contact has reached out (see above).


*Mention the conference among your networks*

As more conference materials become available, share conference info among
your networks and encourage them to sponsor if they’re in a position to do
so.
