Hi all,

*Tl;dr: Help us put together a local FOSS4G and SotM in your city*

November 12th, 2021 has been marked on the calendar for FOSS4G SotM Oceania
2021. We are replicating last year's model by running a regional conference
made up of local volunteer hubs across Oceania. There will be a few hours
of streamed regional content, but otherwise the local hubs are free to go
as big or small as they like.

My question for you. Are you willing to help put together a local hub in
your area? *Simply reply YES and we'll be in touch*. The next committee
meeting is July 23rd

.

Last year a few of us put together the Melbourne hub with about 25 people
at a pub in Melbourne. It wasn't too onerous and we had about 4 people
actively helping each other. Some hubs went smaller and others went much
bigger.

We'd love to see cities across Oceania participating in this year's
conference whether it's a small event at a library or a packed out Eden
Park in Auckland.

Many thanks,

Ed
