[Foss4g2008loc] bulk e-mailing for mass marketing of FOSS4G2008

On Paul R's recommendation to spam lots

eard_about_FOSS4G2007 ), I had this recommendation for a bulk emailer
called WorldCast (http://www.fairlogic.com/). What did 2007 use? 

 

Inge, Magda and Dawn, please coordinate getting all our e-mails onto
something like this, capturing addresses from the LOC list - business
cards, previous databases, our sponsorship / exhibitor database,
personal contacts, etc. as well as purchasing lists. Then we need to put
out regular spam with marketing messages and all our announcements as
they come out.
