Am checking the sites out. Have you made any contact/enquiries? Can't
see yet how we can list FOSS4G2008 as and SFD event, doesn't look like
it fits the profile re: a paid conference.. I could be wrong. Not sure
whether anyone will be presenting from a FOSS 4Geopspatial angle,
perhaps Dawn you would know from the govt side, then we would be able to
get some material there.
I'll email the contacts on the DOC website to enquire how we can get
our message across of the upcoming conference.... e.g if there's room
for our event on their events calendar... I can see one conference there
so far ... "Highway Africa"
Just let me know if anyone has done anything on this so we do not
duplicate efforts.

Any ideas or volunteers for getting FOSS4G 2008 onto the agendas of
activities on 17th or 20th, or at least to get some marketing message
across there. Daina, your thoughts?
