3b and 3a are the strongest IMO, despite the mystical ribbon it actually
works and carries on a theme from this year, as well as providing an
identity.

I can recognise it is as the opera house but can see how it might be
mistaken - perhaps this element can be worked on ? - despite what people may
think of the opera house it's architecturally impressive and I think its
representation in 3a/b is a little cartoonish and could be improved.

Its simplicity works for me and it could be shaped into an effective logo.

I'm not sure the combined logo's look very good - they
look....combined/merged rather than a single image that represents the
conference
