I agree with Jeff that we should follow
the established pattern from 2006-2008,
which means we should use:
http://www.foss4g2007.org/
which implies:
- always use the "www" when the URI is
   included in any text
- always include the trailing slash
- allow http://foss4g2007.org/ to
   work the same as 'the www version'
- "redirects" should be done at the
   DNS level, or transparently, so that
   when the user reaches our website,
   the URL in their browsers still starts
   with http://www.foss4g2009.org/
   (i.e. don't do it like 2008 has done,
   where http://www.foss4g2008.org/ results
   in an HTTP 302 redirecting to:
   http://conference.osgeo.org/index.php/foss4g/2008
