Here's just another option we could use if required.
Keynotes don't just have to be in the morning. At RailsConf they had the first keynote on the night of the workshops. It actually worked quite well bringing everyone in together the night before the sessions.
In fact they had 2 keynotes on two days; one in the morning and one in the evening. A session sandwich if you like.
At the moment we have BOF on at 4.30PM Wednesday. We could easily move that to a later time like 6.30PM without impacting attendance too much. BOFs tend to be informal anyways and people don't mind staying late for them. And put another keynote there - say 4.30-5.30PM
It's just an idea feel free to shoot it down :)
