[Foss4g2009] Preferred Accommodation

In my period efforts to get the workshops all lined up in an orderly 
fashion, I was asked a question that I hadn't considered before, and I'm 
hoping others can weigh in.

What is the preferred hotel for people attending the conference, as 
Fountains Hotel was in Cape Town?

Now, I wasn't able to attend Cape Town, so there may be insights here 
I'm missing (maybe it would be best to avoid Sydney's version of 
Fountains Hotel), but looking through the list on the website I see no 
clear winners either way.

The three hotels right on the harbour are the Hotel Ibis Darling 
Harbour, Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour and Grand Mercure Apartments 
One Darling Harbour.  Each easily within crawling distance of the 
conference center.  On the other hand, the YHA is priced right and has 
easy train access.  There's also http://www.couchsurfing.org/, but I 
don't think you'll get everyone in the same place.

Has anybody already booked, or considered where they're planning on staying?
