> Checked out the spreadsheet and I'm thinking I could assist with the Outreach/Marketing areas and working with Volunteers leading up to the event. I could do mailing list updates as well as updating web content once it's all built.  Also, maybe the website could include a tumblr blog page for highlighting presenters/workshops/sponsors as they come on board. I think there is a way to link tumblr (or other blogs) to a Facebook feed as well so would only have to update one thing. Hit em on all sides :) I'm not too sure about 'heading' anything at this point as it's a little new to me but possibly can take on more as it rolls out.

Excellent!  The website is built around wordpress, so has native blogging abilities, but we're happy to give you access to that for creating blog entries. Sam says we should be ready to go any time now. :) Linking to a Facebook feed is not a bad idea. IFTTT should be able to do that. (In fact: https://ifttt.com/recipes/10336-add-a-new-wordpress-post-it-updates-your-facebook-page-with-a-link-post)

To the best of my knowledge, there's no Facebook page yet. 

Helping to write content of any kind is always a welcome addition.

The things we would need to write next are the CFP announcements, and the Workshop proposal announcements. We can, of course, borrow heavily from past years.

That's our tool for coordinating tasks, keeping track of files, etc.   I'll add an account for you.
