Dear Alyssa, 

 

You may (or may not) know about the FOSS4G conference.

It's a  worldwide,  annual conference on open source geospatial software
where almost 1000 developers, users, academics , policy makers gather
together to share ideas about developing and using free and open source
software for geospatial.

This year the conference is from 24-26 August, in Bonn (Germany)

 

By accident I came across the GWF site.

Starting with 2016, we have defined key stream topics that would tap into
communities with adjacent interests and activates to our geospatial ones.
Thus, we have included the land information, remote sensing for Earth
Observation and open data and after an analysis on your work, I think a
presentation on FOSS4G might fit in perfectly.

I, therefore, encourage you to think joining our conference, and submit a
presentation on GWF.

 

Our call for submissions is already opened and can be found at
http://2016.foss4g.org/news-entry/call-for-submissions.html. It's open until
the 21st of March.

 

 

I hope to be able to welcome you at our event!
