[FOSS4G2017] Venue Announcement

Hey folks,

I am happy to announce that we have a signed contract and can now
officially begin sharing the date and location of the conference venue. I
would like to thank our Local Organizing Committee (LOC) chair, Michael
Terner, Delaney Meeting & Event Management, and the OSGEO community for
getting us to a signed contract.

The International FOSS4G Boston 2017 conference will be held August 14th
through the 18th at The Seaport Hotel & World Trade Center. This venue is
in the heart of the Boston Seaport District, which has many restaurants and
attractions and is home to many tech companies. Attendees will be able to
reach the conference using the Silver Line, giving them direct access to
the Airport and South Station.

The LOC is working on some great things for the conference and will be
making a bigger splash publicly at the FOSS4G-NA Raleigh 2016 and the
FOSS4G Bonn 2016. We hope to carry the torch from this years events and
fire up our community to help us build a strong program for our conference.
