Hello,

the FOSS4G 2019 Community Sprint [1] will be right after the global FOSS4G
conference [2] and has the aim to bring people together.

The Sprint will take place Saturday 31 August 2019
in the University of Bucharest at Faculty of Geography [3] from 9AM
- 18PM.

It offers a great opportunity to meet other OSGeo member and get
involved in the projects! The Community Sprint is an opportunity for
developers and non developers to meet with the core team of the projects,
get a deeper insight into the software and participate in development,
testing or documentation.

Our aim is to bring together project members to discuss and improve
their and other projects.We follow this tradition since 2009.

The OSGeo Code Sprint is open to all who wish to participate in one or
more projects. There is always plenty to do – it’s not all about
programming. Translation, documentation, feedback, discussions, testing
– all this is also important for projects so everyone is cordially
invited to attend the codesprint!
