I just noticed that the release packages are still hosted in Trac. It 
may be a good idea to look at hosting the downloads on 
http://download.osgeo.org/ like most other OSGeo projects do. You just 
need to talk to SAC (or directly to Frank, CC'd) to enable access to 
that server for the project.
