[fusion-dev] Information on development

Dear All,
 
my name is Cristiano Almeida, I'm a professor in a public university in Brazil. Since 2001 I've worked with GIS and hydrologic simulation, mainly on integration of these tools.
 
Currently, we have a research project in which we intend to develop a spatial decision support system for web. We work with MapServer and Fusion. We would like to go deeper on Fusion. 
 
Then, I have question, where could I get more information about Widget development? How it works? and so on. I have already look into the Widget files, ApplicationDefinitation.xlm and index.html.
 
Could some one give me some directions?
