Comment:

 I'm unable to reproduce this now with the MapGuide Sheboygan dataset, it
 may have been fixed with rev 1736 where the extend selection function was
 hooked up to the CTRL key rather than the SHIFT key.
 I the problem still persists please re-open this ticket and provide more
 detailed test case to reproduce it.
