[gdal-announce] GDAL/OGR 1.5.3 Released

Folks,

The GDAL project is pleased to announce the release of GDAL/OGR 1.5.3.  This
is a stable release including many bug fixes since the 1.5.2 release.  The
full list of bug fixes is available at:

The source code can be downloaded from:

   http://download.osgeo.org/gdal/gdal-1.5.3.tar.gz

The OSGeo4W GDAL package has already been updated to 1.5.3 for those
wishing to use it on Windows.
