GDAL - header compile errors

Howdy,

I'm new to GDAL. I'm trying to dynamically link to the GDAL dll but 
my Borland C++ Builder compiler doesn't like cpl_vsi.h. For some 
reason the compiler doesn't recognize any declarations with "FILE". 
I've tried placing stdio.h right in that header but it doesn't make 
any difference. I tried compiling under Visual C++ and everything 
works fine. So there is some compiler specific stuff that i don't 
understand. Anybody got any ideas?
