I'm not sure to understand why weekly would be considered 'more
realistic' since it's a cron job that does the pacakge so it doesn't
require more manual work and there is no reason why the Monday morning
build would be less broken than the Thursday morning one for instance.

I think daily is a great idea because if someone is waiting for an
important bug that gets fixed on a Tuesday then they can get a new
package the next day and don't have to wait until the next Monday.

So daily is more realistic IMHO.
