that's great!

the road into sarge (the upcoming stable release of debian) is still
long, but we still have a chance to make it.

first problem: portability to all the debian architectures.

Andrey, on arm and powerpc we get the following error into the hdf4 driver:

if you so wish i can file a bug report.
