[Gdal-dev] Anything changed on reading Geo-Information from GeoTiff?

Hi,

I have some problems with a geo-tiff. The x-coordinate I receive with 
GDALGetGeoTransform() has the wrong sign. It's positive, but it should
be negativ. With an older version of gdal (1.1.7) I get the correct value.

Is anything changed on reading the Geo-Information?
