Sorry ... my fault. By default email that is too large is bounced to the
administrator (me) for approval. But so is any email from folks not
(apparently) subscribed to the list. I get quite a bit of spam to the list
to discard (maybe 10 a day for this list alone), and 2-3 unsubscribed messages
that need to be forwarded. So, I tend to get sloppy and not try to read the
little message indicating why the message is up for approval. Instead I just
quickly scan it to see if it seems on topic (not spam), and if so approve it.
I will try to watch for big files more carefully, but it would certainly help
if people avoided sending them to the list in the first place.
