Hello everyone,

    I have recently installed the newest stable version of GRASS on Linux and one of the first things that I wanted to do was open this geotiff from the following website and be able to view it...

(It's the demo tiff 93H/10)

    Anyhow, when I try to read it with the r.in.gdal module, I get the following error...

segmentation violation (or something to that effect, I'm not on my computer at the moment).

Any reason why?  I am able to view it within windows and have had no trouble viewing on that end.

Hopefully someone can help me out,
