[Gdal-dev] ogrtindex - mapserver

Hi list,

I am using ogrtindex in conjunction with Mapserver and ran into a problem.

Ogrtindex writes e.g. the following in the location attribute:

location
=====================
d:\data\myshape.shp,0
etc.

This way Mapserver won't find the quadtree index file (qix) associated
with the shapefile (as it will look for d:\data\myshape.shp,0.qix).

I have to edit the tile-index and change it into:

location
=====================
d:\data\myshape
etc.

in order to have Mapserver use the quadtree index for the data shapefiles
(note d:\data\myshape.shp does not work either).

Is there an option in ogrtindex which I am missing?
