[Gdal-dev] Reprojection a GeoTIFF heightMap

Hi,

when trying to reproject a heightMap from UTM 10 / WGS84 to UTM 10 /
NAD27 I get the error message:

ERROR 4: 'fileName.tif' not recognised as a supported file format.

followed by a bus error.
The heightMap itself should be fine, so I wonder where the problem might
be. Is it just not possible to convert between the different datums?
