[Gdal-dev] gdal_translate question

When running gdal_translate with the -proj_win option the program
calculates a -src_win. I have been getting calculated src_win(s) with
negative numbers (both for offset and size). Is this supposed to happen?

Since Lizardtech has now made the decode functionality free
(http://developer.lizardtech.com/data/) would it be possible to include
MrSID support by default in future binary builds of GDAL?
