[Gdal-dev] ECW Driver and GDAL 1.2.6 Release

Folks,

I had hoped to issue a GDAL 1.2.6 release today, or very soon, but I
am also committing a bunch of changes to the ECW driver that require the
ECW 3.1 (or perhaps later?) SDK.  Basically it needs the very latest
version not yet released by ERMapper.  For that reason I am going to
hold off on the next GDAL release for a bit till that is available.

Anyone building from CVS will likely need to build without the ECW
driver in the meantime, or manually force use of the old ECW code.

I appologise for the inconvenience.
