[Gdal-dev] s57

Hello,

I'm looking at the S57 library, and would like to know the status on 
catalog support (if anybody knows). It seems that some work has been 
done, but it has not been fully implemented ?

 I have been trying to add something onto it, but I think  I'm missing 
some background  (my trials ends up rather badly).

Hope somebody could explain a little on the issue,  so I know whether  
I'm working  towards a dead end.
