ok thanks
:)
in the last version of the c program, i could write a "clone" of a real
raster file, reading it first, and then calculating the parameters for each
file (boundary, header, index and data). for the projection file i'd use the
same projection parameter of the source
the "cloned" raster file ys the same, and it could use in arcgis 8.3, but
there was a problem in the first column: the lines tha were "multiplus -
power of 4" (sorry for my english) take a value diferent
the program has also the capability of make a null raster
to calculate the parameters (numlines, numpixels, tilexsise, tileysize, etc)
i'd use the data of existing raster files and make a regresion. so the
program look first for the value stored in an array with the real values,
then, if there was not found in it, make the regresion calculus (in most of
the case, there are diferences of 1 to 4 pixels)
the problem that we have now is that the trial version of arcgis has expired
and now we are making the documents to buy a licensed version.
but don't worry, when we get the licence, we will continue and will finish
the program. also we will make a little document about the raster grid
format
:)
