Hi Curt,

I'm using OpenEV as compiled by FW for Windows, so I'm guessing that the
conversion files were included in the compile...but maybe not.

That's an indication that you didn't load the NAD27 to NAD83
conversion files into Proj.4 before you compiled it, which would
have been before you compiled/installed GDAL.
