Once upon a time the ecwp protocol seemed to be working more-or-less
but for some reason would sometimes get screwed up and not recover.
But I haven't tried it in ages, so no doubt it is completely broken now.
No fault of the ECW SDK - I would guess it is stuff I am doing wrong.

Hmm, I could be getting a bit mixed up with the jpip protocol.

You can file a bug report on this, but it isn't honestly too high a priority
for me just now.
